It´s been an intense week.  I´ve done six days of extreme kayak training (Chris sez its a battle of will).  Spent many minutes upside down and hours playing in rapids practicing peel outs and delayed angle ferries (love them, no paddel movement).

Finally got to the class II+/III play area.  Expect to be spending some time there. 

Today was a day off of paddleing so I went on a rafting trip, class IV and IV+ on the Futa.  Awesum waves, giant holes, 10 foot breakers and big drops.  So, even if I don´t kayak a section of the Futa, I´ve been there.

So far no major damage on the body so I´m up for six more intense days.  Hard to believe the trip is half over.   

The Scenery out here of course is amazing and the night sky is as bright as I´ve ever seen.  

Lots of wild (and not so wild) characters come down for a week of adventure.   The crew last week were all just a little crazy (like me).  Mix that up with the dozen or so guides that are around (who really are crazy) and what a blast.

Next time I´ll upload a few pictures, maybe even some under water pictures of my roll!
