Head Works was sooo much fun we decided to do a repeat on Saturday (1/27/06). This time we had Anne, Sydney, Paula and Samson from the week before, Rick and Toria joined us as well. (Poor ole Dave was laid up with the flu 🙁
It was bright sunny and frosty. That would have been fine, however, there was a wind. And what a wind it was!
We put in at the pool again. First riffle drop got whipped up into a storm by the wind as we entered. Our boats were getting pushed two and three feet side ways before we could even compensate. This was going be an interesting run if the wind kept up like this.
fortunately, that gust was the worst of it. We still had wind but the drops we went through were either protected (or we lucked out!
